Biografia

Edi Magi an accomplished ceramic artist, lives in the medieval hilltop town of Castiglion Fiorentino, near Arezzo, in the heart of Tuscany.

She is widely travelled, having visited Africa, Asia, both North and South America and her elegant work reflects impressions of these faraway lands, as well as depicting the natural wonders of her native Tuscany. Truly an artist with the ability to capture the best of both traditional and contemporary styles, her work is inspired, balanced and creative.

Her techniques include throwing, sculpting, sgraffito, majolica, slipware and relief panels - constantly pushing the limits of both clay and kiln. Each composition is handcrafted throughout the creative process, from the raw medium to the finished work.

All Edi's works are unique. Many have been individually commissioned and are in private collections around the world.

She often collaborates closely with her clients as well as architects and designers.

Edi regularly exhibits in Italy, and abroad, and has a permanent display in her studio in Castiglion Fiorentino.
